Harry Kane continued his incredible goal scoring run to give Tottenham a convincing 4-0 away win over Huddersfield on Saturday.

The England striker was in top form to net a double against the Terriers, one a brilliant curling effort from outside the box, with left back Ben Davies also finding himself on the score sheet with a smart finish.

Moussa Sissoko rounded off the scoring with a late strike, to score his first goal for the club since his arrival in the summer of 2016.

It was a match in which Tottenham looked comfortable for the majority of the 90 minutes, with Huddersfield rarely threatening Hugo Lloris between the sticks.

The result sees Spurs move up to third place in the Premier League table with 14 points, two behind both Manchester City and Manchester United, who are both in action on Saturday.

Illness takes toll on Eriksen

Danish international Christian Eriksen was missing through illness for the club's visit to Apoel Nicosia in the Champions League during the week, but Pochettino reinstated him to the starting XI on Saturday.

However, it was clear that Eriksen was still struggling as he failed to show off the attacking prowess fans have become accustomed to seeing.

He was slow in possession and struggled to fashion chances for his team mates, and was replaced by Moussa Sissoko in the second half.

Eriksen, his team mates and Pochettino will be hoping for a stronger showing after the international break.

Harry Kane back to his best

It is hard to deny that Harry Kane is one of the best strikers in Europe at the moment with seven goals in as many games.

He has shown his wide array of goal scoring talents, from tap ins, headers and sensational strikes.

His first on Saturday was a calm finish placed into the net round Huddersfield's goalkeeper, while his second was an outstanding curling strike from outside the box.

It was another brilliant performance from the England man, and all the worry about his lack of goals in August can be firmly forgotten.

Dele for the drop

Like Eriksen, Dele Alli was another Tottenham man who failed to perform at his best on Saturday.

The England youngster was a bystander for much of the match, watching his team mates pass elsewhere despite him screaming for the ball in the Huddersfield box.

However, he failed to impress with the ball at his feet, while he was deservedly booked for a dive in the Huddersfield box.

It was a real disappointment and Pochettino must be considering the 21-year-old's place in the starting XI, with the likes of Heung-min Son and Moussa Sissoko both left on the bench against the Terriers.
