Oli McBurnie sent a Twitter message after winning two more caps for Scotland and Rangers fans have responded in the hope that he will be coming to Ibrox in the summer.

McBurnie earned his fourth cap for his country in the 2-0 defeat to Peru and the 1-0 loss to Mexico, and he's still waiting for his first goal.

However, he was unlucky against Mexico and almost helped his side snatch an unlikely point when he grazed the post with a second-half header.

After the game he said that it was an honour to win two more caps in what he called "unbelievable atmospheres".

He sent the message on Sunday night on his personal Twitter account.

McBurnie also issued a come-and-get-me plea to Gerrard after the game, and the lifelong Rangers fan has said he would love to play for Rangers.

Talking in the Daily Record, McBurnie said: "I’ve always said, all my life, I would love to play for Rangers."

Here are the best reactions from Rangers fans to his message:
