Leigh Griffiths has angered Rangers fans after he nominated Pedro Caixinha as Celtic's Player of the Year at their recent annual awards.

The former Rangers manager had a disastrous reign at Ibrox that ended with him getting sacked in October.

Graeme Murty took over as new manager but failed to bridge the gulf between the two sides and suffered a humiliating 4-0 loss in the recent Scottish Cup semi-final.

The two sides are due to play again at Celtic Park on Sunday in what could be the season's title decider.

Celtic will win the Premiership if they beat Rangers and the already bad blood has been made worse after Griffith's comments.

In a video shown at the awards he said: "My player of the year this year is Pedro Caixinha."

Rangers fans haven't taken to this too kindly and swarmed onto Twitter to react to the Celtic player.
