West Ham fans have turned to social media to rage over an inside report that young duo Reece Burke and Josh Cullen are set to be sold in the January transfer window.

Twitter account ExWHUemployee, who has established themselves as a reliable source of insider knowledge around the club, has claimed that the midfielder and centre back are both set to be permanently offloaded after their loan deals with Championship side Bolton Wanderers end.

The youngsters, both 21-year-old, have struggled to establish themselves in the first team squad with the Trotters in recent weeks, despite both having started their careers with the club among the first team line up.

News of their impending sales has riled up the West Ham faithful, with fans taking to Twitter to voice their anger at the club getting rid of what they feel to be two of their hottest prospects.

Midfielder Cullen has managed to make four appearances for the senior side at West Ham, while central defender Burke has seen himself turn out 12 times for the first team.

Meanwhile for Bolton, Cullen has 10 outings under his belt, nine of those coming in the clubs opening nine fixtures, with Burke having made 13 appearances for the Championship side.
