Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has whittled down his list of suitors to just two Premier League clubs, according to Sky Sports.

Sky Sports broke the news on Twitter on Wednesday morning that the Arsenal star is going to choose between Premier League sides Crystal Palace or Bournemouth.

This update comes after claims that the 24-year-old had also been linked with Watford, Sporting Lisbon and Benfica. It now seems that it is down to just two Premier League clubs in his search for a team that can offer regular first-team football and a fast-track back to the Arsenal fold.

Crystal Palace have shown a lot of ambition in this transfer window, bringing in the likes of Christian Benteke in a permanent move from Liverpool, Loic Remy on loan from Chelsea and Andros Townsend from Newcastle.

It is understood that the decision will be left to the 24-year-old Arsenal midfielder, and that he will inform Arsene Wenger at some point on Wednesday morning.

Wilshere was omitted from Sam Allardyce's first England squad to face Slovakia in a World Cup qualifier.

He has played a total of 37 minutes for Arsenal this season across two Premier League matches, including the last 20 of Saturday’s 3-1 win at Watford, but has slipped behind Granit Xhaka, Santi Cazorla, Francis Coquelin, Mohamed Elneny and Aaron Ramsey in the pecking order at the Emirates.
