Pundit fears Ofoborh may never play for Rangers after Gerrard's transfer gaffe
Frank McAvennie has expressed concerns over how Nnamdi Ofoborh can break into the Rangers team after a bizarre loan spell with Wycombe.
The former Celtic hitman, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, was baffled by Ofoborh’s lack of involvement with the Championship side.
Rangers announced the pre-contract signing of Ofoborh in February and loaned him back to his former side Wycombe.

Ofoborh, 21, only played 314 minutes across eight appearances for Wycombe.
He was dropped from Gareth Ainsworth’s squads but there was no update from the club as to why he was failing to even make the bench.
In a club preview ahead of Wycombe’s April clash with Luton, it was stated that all players were ‘fit and available’ aside from Dominic Gape and Jordan Obita.

However, just days later, the club claimed Ofobroh was undergoing ‘assessments’ which would suggest he had an injury.
Steven Gerrard also failed to mention Ofoborh as one of his fresh options ahead of next season while speaking in a recent press conference.
McAvennie claims things aren’t looking good for Ofoborh at Rangers but admitted Gerrard has a good eye for players.
“If you’re not getting a game for Wycombe…” McAvennie told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“They loaned him out and he’s not getting a game, my god. It’s not looking good.
“There has to be some doubts there if he will leave Rangers without playing.
“Maybe the manager down there didn’t want him playing if he wouldn’t be there next season. I really don’t get that.
“If he comes up here and thinks he can stroll the Premiership after getting relegated, he’ll soon learn. Good luck with that one.
“Gerrard must see something in the boy. Something the rest of us can’t.”
