McAvennie: I don't blame Postecoglou for lashing out as 'he's sick of his life at Celtic'
Frank McAvennie insists Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou has every right to be annoyed with recent questions from journalists.
The former Hoops striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, claims the new Parkhead boss is feeling the pressure.
On 30 September, Postecoglou (via Sky Sports) questioned the “condescending” nature of questions in his press conference.
Postecoglou also asked why the press were supposedly crowning Rangers as league champions in September.
This comes as Celtic suffer through poor form, only winning one of their last five games.
That came against lower league opposition in the form of Raith Rovers.

McAvennie insists Postecoglou will be annoyed after being asked the same questions every week.
“He must be sick of his life,” McAvennie told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“He’s being asked the same questions every week, how could you not be annoyed by that?
“There is so much pressure at Celtic but it’s really early doors. His job is safe, he will get time.
“These problems aren’t Ange’s, he doesn’t have the squad yet. They were being praised a few weeks ago.
“Now it’s all criticism. That happens. Let’s see where we all are in January.
“Postecoglou is in a very hard job. I don’t blame him for having a go.”
Celtic face a trip to Aberdeen this SUnday as they look to climb away from the bottom half of the table.
They were hammered 4-0 by Bayer Leverkusen in their last outing.
