McAvennie: Ntcham 'could easily come back' at Celtic after footage emerges
Frank McAvennie is hoping Olivier Ntcham can work his way back into the fold at Celtic after travelling with the squad to their Wales training camp.
The former Hoops hitman, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, reacted to the latest developments on Ntcham’s future.
Ntcham was spotted by the SNS Group, who had a photographer in place to capture images of the squad before they travelled to Wales.
Football Insider revealed on 22nd May that Celtic had agreed to terminate the midfielder’s contract a year early.
McAvennie is hoping Ntcham is given a clean slate under Ange Postecoglou as he remains a huge fan of the player.

“Whenever new management comes in, the slate gets wiped clean,” McAvennie told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“He didn’t get on with Lenny [Neil Lennon]. If you don’t get on with the management for whatever reason, it’s hard.
“If his attitude is a bit wrong, it can be a challenge. Something could have happened that we don’t know about.
“I think he’s a wonderful talent and if Postecoglou sees that then he could easily come back.
“From what I’ve seen of Postecoglou, he looks to have it sorted. What he does in training looks like what we need.
“It’s a big few days for the boy but I’ve said how highly I rate him before. I’d love him back.”
Ntcham spent the second half of 2020-21 on loan with Marseille in Ligue 1.
He made just six appearances in total and failed to complete 90 minutes in any of those.
