Tottenham winger Jack Clarke is heading to Stoke City on Wednesday evening for a medical, Football Insider can exclusively reveal.

The terms of the short-term move have now been agreed and a Tottenham source has told Football Insider the club have given permission for Clarke to head to the Potters.

He is set for a medical starting on Wednesday evening before completing the paperwork of the transfer.

It is a major coup for Stoke as they continue their signing blizzard.

The young attacker has attracted interest and offers from clubs across the Championship, including Coventry City and Sheffield Wednesday.

At the Bet365 Stadium, Clarke will link up with recent Stoke arrivals Rhys Norrington-Davies, who has joined on loan from Sheffield United, as well as Rabbi Matondo from Schalke.

The summer-of-2019 signing has made three appearances for Tottenham this season, including in last Sunday's FA Cup win at Marine.

Clarke, who joined from boyhood club Leeds for a potential £13million if all add-ons are activated, had difficult spells on loan at Elland Road and QPR last season.
