Medical passed: Celtic finalise Lawal signing today after terms agreed
Bosun Lawal has arrived in Glasgow this morning to complete a six-figure transfer to Celtic, Football Insider can exclusively reveal.
The midfielder, 18, has opted to quit Watford and move to the Scottish giants.
A Celtic source has told Football Insider that Lawal has landed at Glasgow airport and is expected to put pen to paper today on a three-year contract.
It is understood that the Republic of Ireland youth international has already passed a medical with the Hoops.
Celtic are now putting the finishing touches to a deal that will see Lawal become the latest teenage talent to move north of the border to the club.
They have already signed Liam Shaw and Osaze Urhoghide from Sheffield Wednesday in deals completed earlier this summer.

Lawal was named the Watford 2020/21 academy player of the season and caught the eye of senior teammates with the depth of his talent.
Club captain Troy Deeney has described him as an “effortless” talent who’s “going to have a career”, likening him to former teammate Abdoulaye Doucoure.
Lawal was offered a new deal by the Hornets, where his contract ran until the end of last month.
He is a free agent but Celtic will have to pay a compensation fee to Watford for his development costs.
That fee is expected to be less than £300,000, which is the maximum the Scottish giants would have to pay under Fifa rules for cross-border transfers.
