Medical underway: Gazzaniga agrees to join Fulham after quitting Tottenham - Sources
Former Tottenham goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga is undergoing a medical ahead of a free transfer to Fulham, Football Insider understands.
The 29-year-old left Spurs after four years this summer at the end of his contract in north London.
A Fulham source has told Football Insider the shot-stopper has agreed to join the Cottagers in the Championship.
It is understood he is undertaking the necessary medical tests today (Saturday, July 24th) before penning a contract with the cottagers.
Fulham have been in the new market for a new keeper after Alphonse Areola returned to PSG at the end of his loan spell.
The Frenchman was a standout performer in the Premier League but was unable to prevent the club from being relegated.

Marek Rodak and Fabri are Marco Silva’s current senior options between the sticks.
However, Silva and his staff have identified Gazzaniga as an affordable signing with top-level experience.
The Argentina international has 43 Premier League appearances under his belt from his spells at Tottenham and Southampton.
He featured 23 times for the Saints before joining former manager Mauricio Pochettino at Spurs.
However, Gazzaniga played just 37 times across all competitions during his time in north London.
The arrival of Joe Hart last summer saw the South American fall to third in the pecking order.
He featured in just two matchday squads as an unused substitute during the first half of the 2020/21 campaign.
Spurs then shipped him to Elche on loan, where he played eight times.
