Medical underway: Liverpool attacker nearing exit - Sky Sports
By Danny Wright
Liverpool attacker Sheyi Ojo is having a medical at Fulham ahead of a season-long loan move to Craven Cottage, according to a report.
Sky Sports claims that Middlesbrough and Newcastle also agreed personal terms with the 20-year-old, but he has opted to join Slavisa Jokanovic’s side on a temporary basis instead of the two north-east clubs.
It is understood that Fulham are still working hard to try and bring in players before the transfer window slams shut in just over two weeks’ time.
Ojo only earned two appearances for Liverpool last season, both of which coming in the two clashes with Plymouth in the third round of the FA Cup.
The attack-minded winger is no stranger to being sent out on loan to the Championship, having had previous spells with Wigan and Wolves.

Liverpool Echo journalist James Pearce claimed on his personal Twitter account on Tuesday morning that Derby and Aston Villa had also missed out on the England Under-20 international.
It was reported that he was on the verge of joining Fulham but there was no mention of a medical being underway.
Football Insider Verdict
Ojo’s loan move to Fulham seems like a win-win for all parties concerned. He will not be playing in Jurgen Klopp’s first-team this season and it’s likely that he will be able to get at least 30 matches at Jokanovic’s Fulham. Ojo is at the stage where he needs as much first-team football as possible. The fact that he didn’t feature in the Premier League at all last term suggests that he might not have what it takes to show his true potential at Anfield. He can use his spell at Craven Cottage to prove Klopp wrong, but it will be a hard thing to do with the Liverpool squad already well-stocked in the positions that Ojo plays in.
