Forshaw tipped to quit Leeds after Bielsa reveal - Mills
Danny Mills has tipped Adam Forshaw to leave Leeds United this summer.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Whites and England defender suggested Marcelo Bielsa may not be able to trust the midfielder after watching his injury struggles from close quarters.
Forshaw has not featured for the first team in almost two years after suffering various setbacks resulting from a hip injury.
He was named on the bench for Leeds’ 5-1 loss to Manchester United last week.
Bielsa revealed in his pre-Everton press conference yesterday (19 August) that the midfielder is still a long way from being a regular in his side.
Asked for his assessment of Forshaw’s status, Mills told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley: “There gets to a point where you haven’t played for so long that the manager loses a little bit of faith and maybe a little bit of trust in what you can do.

“As much as you see it in training, you haven’t seen it in a match situation for a couple of seasons. You start to have those doubts.
“Sometimes, as sad as it is, you need a move to someone that believes in you and can offer you a fresh start. They won’t have seen you break down in training sessions and have to go back in to see the physios.”
Forshaw has played 52 times across all competitions for Leeds since arriving from Middlesbrough in 2018.
The 29-year-old played the first half as the club’s Under-23s beat Crystal Palace 3-1 earlier this week.
