Mills: Gray tipped to explode after confirmed Everton news
Danny Mills has tipped Demarai Gray to explode at Everton next season.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Leeds United and England defender suggested Gray may have finally found the “right fit” at Goodison Park under Rafael Benitez.
The winger’s promising career has stalled in recent seasons but Everton announced on 22 July he has signed a three-year deal with an option for another 12 months with the club.
Gray has moved to Merseyside from Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen.
He moved to Germany from Leicester City just six months age and played 12 times for the club.
In the last 18 months of his Leicester career, the 25-year-old started just three Premier League games.

“It’s not necessarily make or break, he’s obviously a player with ability,” Mills told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley.
“You just have to find the right fit with the right manager where it just clicks and it suits you.
“This may well be it. You just need that little bit of belief.
“You need evidence. People believe you’re a good player, you believe you’re a good player but you’ve got to back that up with evidence.
“You need a few good games. On the back of that, you get confidence, you get even better and all of a sudden it snowballs very, very quickly in to what it needs to be successful.”
As well as Gray, Benitez has already added Andros Townsend and Asmir Begovic to his squad for the new season.
Everton finished the last campaign in 10th-position, six points behind the top six.
