'He's already agreed terms' - Exclusive: Mills reacts to Spurs transfer reveal as exit nears

Danny Mills has claimed Christian Eriksen is likely to have already agreed personal terms with Real Madrid after dropping a Tottenham transfer bombshell.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-England defender is convinced the playmaker will have an offer on the table from the Spanish giants before going public with his intention to quit.
Eriksen told the Danish newspaper Ekstra Bladet that he wants to take on a new challenge at another club this summer and claimed “Real Madrid is a step up” from Spurs.
The 27-year-old Denmark midfielder, who has been at Tottenham since 2013, has one year to run on his current contract and has rebuffed attempts from the club to extend his terms.
“He’s already agreed terms with Real Madrid, that’s how it appears to me,” Mills told Football Insider. “Players only tend to go public with their intention to leave when there is an offer or two on the table.

“Christian Eriksen will know who is knocking on the door, and he will certainly know who are the clubs that are interested. He has specifically named Real Madrid, which suggests he has an agreement with the club, but a fee needs to be agreed.
“That will not be easy, as Daniel Levy will want top dollar for a player who has had a successful season and whose stock is incredibly high at the moment.”
Eriksen’s situation is likely to be critical to Tottenham’s summer transfer plans, as his potential exit would provide Mauricio Pochettino with a significantly enhanced kitty.
