Mills slams 'greedy' Celtic board after Ajer U-turn today
Danny Mills has warned Celtic not to be “greedy” and out price Kristoffer Ajer from a move away.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Leeds United and England full-back claimed any potential buyers may walk away from a deal unless the Hoops compromise on his price tag.
Football Insider learned today Ajer is furious at the Celtic board after they U-turned on their promise to sell him for £15million.
The Glasgow giants have now put a £20million asking price on the defender who has just one year left on his contract.
Premier League newboys Brentford were convinced they would have their £15million offer including add-ons accepted by Celtic.
Ajer has made it clear he wants to quit the club this summer and wants to challenge himself in a top European league.

“There’s always a cut-off point,” Mills told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley.
“How hard you can push it before a club suddenly goes ‘You know what? We’re done, we’re out.’
“In any walk of life, you’ve got to be careful that you don’t go too far saying ‘We want more, we want more, we want more.’ There’s a point where the buyer goes ‘No, it’s too much, forget it.’ Then you end up with nothing.
“You want to get as much money as you can for players but you’ve got to be careful not to be silly and lose that sale by being greedy.”
Ajer has played 176 times across all competitions for Celtic.
He may now add to that with the Hoops set to begin their Champions League qualification campaign against FC Midtjylland next Tuesday (20 July).
