All have arrived for nominal fees or on free transfers, although these deals have drawn criticism as none is expected to challenge immediately for a first-team spot.
Celtic’s plan is for the quartet from south of the border to eventually make the same kind of impact as the likes of Moussa Dembele and Jeremie Frimpong.
Both were prised from south of the border after their contracts at English clubs had expired and developed into big-money assets at Parkhead before leaving for huge profits.
Lawal was named the Watford 2020/21 academy player of the season and has been capped by Republic of Ireland at youth level.
Lawal turned down a new deal by from the Hornets.
Club captain Troy Deeney has described the Celtic new boy as an “effortless” talent who’s “going to have a career”, likening him to former teammate Abdoulaye Doucoure.
