Ndombele '100%' could leave Tottenham after source update on talks - pundit
Kevin Campbell insists the writing is on the wall for Tanguy Ndombele’s Tottenham career.
The Arsenal icon, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, reacted to the latest on the midfielder amid mounting speculation over his future.
Ndombele, 24, failed to make the bench for Tottenham’s Premier League opener against Man City and a source has told Football Insider he has told Spurs chiefs he wants to leave by the end of this month.
The France international has also not been included in Spurs’ 25-man Europa Conference League squad, as announced on Wednesday.
As quoted by The Athletic (9th August), Nuno Espirito Santo revealed Ndombele was not injured when he was also left out of Spurs’ final pre-season clash against Arsenal.
The midfielder could be one of a number of late-window big name departures with Harry Kane also pushing hard for the exit door.

Campbell claims Ndombele could “100%” leave Tottenham before the transfer window closes.
“It could happen, 100%,” Campbell told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“Ndombele had problems with Mourinho, didn’t he? Maybe he isn’t the player Nuno wants.
“The fact of the matter is when he’s not even involved, the writing is on the wall.
“He wants to play football, he’s a talented boy and the record signing. He’s not going to hang around and sit in the stands watching everyone else.
“He’ll ask to leave if he doesn’t play. A move will probably do him good. It’s never good when you aren’t even making the squad.”
In March 2020, then-Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho launched a scathing attack on Ndombele after a poor performance against Burnley.
Football.London quote Mourinho as saying “we didn’t have a midfield” before absolving Ndombele’s midfield partner Oliver Skipp of any blame.
