Chris Sutton: This is what I have been told about Dembele situation at Celtic

Chris Sutton has revealed that Moussa Dembele has never wanted to leave Celtic as speculation continues that the player will be sold in the January transfer window.
Sutton made the bombshell claim on his Twitter account following the Hoops’ 2-1 win over Partick Thistle, a game in which Dembele was an unused substitute.
“He’s had speculation since he’s been 16 so speculation won’t bother him!” Sutton began, before going onto discuss the 21-year-old’s future in Glasgow.
“He’s never asked to leave so for people to suggest he wants out is very unfair on him and doesn’t reflect fairly on him! I’m told he is and always has been extremely happy at Celtic.”

Dembele’s future at the Hoops has been under scrutiny in recent weeks, particularly after Celtic assistant manager Chris Davies recently claimed that the club believed that Dembele was planning to leave the club in the near future.
The speculation will no doubt intensify in the run-up to the close of the transfer window on the 31st of January.
To matters on the pitch, and the Hoops were forced to come from behind to dig out a 2-1 win over Partick Thistle at Firhill.
The half-time introduction of Leigh Griffiths changed the game as the Scotland international scored the winning goal, his 11th of the season.
The win took the Bhoys 11 points clear of closest challengers Aberdeen ahead of their visit to Ibrox on Wednesday night.
The Bhoys are next in action on Saturday when they take on Hibs at Celtic Park.
