Newcastle fans react on Twitter to reported attacker interest
By Dominic Toner
Newcastle are interested in signing Derby attacker Tom Ince – and the club’s supporters have welcomed the move on Twitter.
The Sun report that the 24-year-old has emerged as an £8million target for the Magpies, but Derby are determined to keep him in the transfer window.
It is understood that Newcastle manager Rafael Benitez believes Ince could strengthen the club’s bid for the Championship title.
Benitez’s side are currently second in the league table and have a comfortable six-point gap over third-placed Reading, but will be keen to win the title on their way to promotion.
They are two points adrift of leaders Brighton and have also played a game more than their rivals.

If we can get Tom Ince for £8million I'd happily take him. He's on fire right now and would hugely improve the current squad.

Ince has been a standout performer in Derby’s side this year as they chase a play-off spot in the Championship.
The right winger has made 28 appearances across all competitions, scoring nine goals and supplying three assists.
He scored a fantastic free-kick on Saturday as they knocked Premier League opposition West Brom out of the FA Cup and has been tipped to play in the top-flight during recent years.
Ince has been a quality player for Derby since they signed him from Blackpool and has scored 32 goals in 93 appearances for the Rams.
