Newcastle United will have no problem attracting the “world’s best players”, according to Paul Robinson.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-England goalkeeper does not agree with those who claim the north-east is a turn-off to elite stars.
Robinson insisted there are “some beautiful places in the north-east” and the region is only “an hour in a helicopter from London”.

“Listen, Newcastle are going to be linked with every man and his dog now. An incredible amount of money has come in and everyone’s expecting some big names to come in.
“I am hearing a lot of people question whether players will move up to Newcastle and live in the north east. It is an hour in a helicopter from London. There is some beautiful places in the north east so let me tell you, it will not be a problem. They will be able to attract the world’s best players.
