Amar Dedic is one of Newcastle United’s main targets this summer transfer window as the club aims to add depth to its backline.

Reports emerged on Thursday that a deal between the Magpies and Benfica was at its final stages, with the final fee set to be worth over £25.6million.

Personal terms have been agreed with the 23-year-old right-back, who could soon become the club’s sixth signing of the summer.

Dedic has heavily impressed at the Portugal giants since making the move to the club last season.
