Newcastle United fans have called for the club to sign Nicolas Jackson to end their attacking woes this summer after his performance against France.

The striker started and proved to be a constant thorn for the French as the West African side were defeated 3-1.

The 24-year-old had become an outcast at Chelsea for the 2025-26 campaign and was loaned out to Bayern Munich.

With his future at Stamford Bridge still unclear, many of the St James’ Park faithful have called on the club to bring him in.

Jackson netted eight league goals for Bayern this season as they won the Bundesliga title yet again.

Newcastle have been linked to the striker in recent months, and after his performance vs Senegal, many supporters have warmed up to a potential move.

Jackson was exceptional against France despite his nation’s defeat, as he showed the world that he can still be a serious threat.

The striker hit the post in the first half, and also saw a goal disallowed in the second period for offside.

Newcastle fans watching the game were highly impressed and believed that such a player could make an impact at St James’ Park next season, especially if he is available for a cheap fee.

Taking to X, many argued that Jackson would be a good signing, and is currently way better than their current striker options.

Football Insider exclusively revealed that Newcastle are also interested in Chelsea striker Liam Delap this summer.

Things have not gone to plan for the 23-year-old since his move to Stamford Bridge from Ipswich Town.

Delap last scored for Chelsea in early January, and netted just three times in 47 appearances across his debut season at the club.

However, this has not put Newcastle off, who were also linked to the attacker back last summer.

Everton are also reportedly admirers of the striker as he looks to reignite his career in the Premier League 

However, it remains to be seen if Xabi Alonso would be happy to let Delap go after just one campaign, or if the Spaniard believes that he can get the best out of him next season.
