Nketiah predicted to quit after 'unbelievable' Arsenal footage emerges - pundit
Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah put himself in the shop window last week, according to Kevin Phillips.
The 2000 European Golden Shoe winner, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, heaped praise on the 22-year-old for his performance against AFC Wimbledon in the EFL Cup.
As shown by footage from 433, the centre-forward scored a sublime goal in a 3-0 victory over the League One side on Wednesday.
Nketiah is into the final 12 months of his contract at the Emirates.
According to The Sun (5 September), the striker, who can talk to foreign clubs regarding a pre-contract from January, is likely to leave on a free next summer.
When asked by Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs if clubs would be queuing up to sign Nketiah, Phillips said: “100 per cent.

“There will be plenty of suitors for him next year, especially if he leaves on a free in the summer.
“His goal in midweek was great. What an unbelievable finish.
“If he goes on a free next year it’s another one where you look at Arsenal and wonder how they’ve allowed him to run down his contract. It’s happened far too often.
“Nketiah is a young player who will definitely have clubs looking to take him. He will not struggle to find one.
“I think he will stay in the Premier League or go to one of the top Championship clubs who are going for promotion. He will not be shy of a few clubs, let’s put it that way.”
