By Dominic Toner

Celtic midfielder Scott Brown and Patrick Roberts were included in the SPFL team of the week after the Scottish Cup semi-final victory over Rangers.

However, there was no place for Callum McGregor despite his goal in the 2-0 win, which has set-up a fascinating cup final against Aberdeen.

The SPFL revealed the best XI on its personal Twitter account and two of the Bhoys stars were recognised.

The Bhoys were particularly impressive during their triumph in the cup and McGregor opening the scoring with a superbly placed finish.

Celtic attacker Sinclair then continued his remarkable goalscoring form this season with a penalty in the second-half to seal the tie.

The 28-year-old has now made 24 goals in just 44 appearances for the Scottish champions this campaign and managed to recapture his best form.

Meanwhile, captain Brown gave another gritty performance in the heart of the midfield against Rangers and knows what the Old Firm derby means better than most.
