Nottingham Forest fans have been left stunned at Vitor Pereira's decision to substitute Morgan Gibbs-White off against Fulham.

Pereira remains winless as Nottingham Forest boss in the Premier League, with Fulham able to leave the City Ground with a point.

The Tricky Trees failed to have a shot on target in the second half, with Dan Ndoye's goal ruled out for a handball in the 63rd minute.

Whilst Nottingham Forest move out of the relegation zone on goal difference with a point, they will feel like an opportunity was missed at home to collect all three against a mid-table Fulham side.

Vitor Pereira makes 'baffling' Morgan Gibbs-White move

Pereria decided to replace Gibbs-White with Ryan Yates in the second half, despite the Nottingham Forest midfielder having been one of the clubs key players this season.

Gibbs-White has scored eight goals in the Premier League this season, five more than any other Nottingham Forest player, with striker Chris Wood still missing from the matchday squad due to a knee injury.

Fan Verdict: "Playing for a point"

Nottingham Forest fans believe Pereira and the club may have had one eye on their Europa League last 16 tie against Midtjylland, where they trail 1-0 from the first leg.

One fan called the Fulham match a "must win game," with another supporter claiming that Pereira's substitution "sums up the mentality" at the club.

Nottingham Forest only have eight Premier League games left to keep their Premier League status, with the club winless in seven matches.

Elliot Anderson transfer fee revealed

Finance expert Stefan Borson told Football Insider that Manchester City are willing to pay £80million to sign Elliot Anderson in the summer transfer window.

Man City have been linked with a move for Anderson throughout the season, and they are now emerging as the clear front-runners for the midfielder.

The 23-year-old is expected to be one of a number of players who depart the City Ground in the summer, with Gibbs-White and Murillo also likely to leave if the club suffer relegation.

Anderson has been a constant figure in midfield this season across four different managers, contributing two goals and two assists in the Premier League.
