Sevilla have registered their interest in signing Nottingham Forest forward Arnaud Kalimuendo, sources have told Football Insider.

The Spanish club are accelerating plans to lure the 24-year-old as they prioritise the signing of a new attacker.

Forest have an asking price of £30million for Kalimuendo but are willing to accept an initial loan deal with an option to buy.

The East Midlands club signed striker for just £26m last summer, before he was loaned out to Eintracht Frankfurt on loan after failing to impress.

Now, back at Forest, Kalimuendo has featured in multiple pre-season games under Oliver Glasner ahead of the 2026-27 campaign.

Here, he has impressed some of the fanbase, which has led to calls for him to be given a second chance this season.

Sevilla eye move for Arnaud Kalimuendo

Kalimuendo has emerged as an unlikely talent so far this pre-season for Forest.

After failing to net a single goal in the Premier League last campaign, it appears that he could play a part in the new season under Glasner.

However, despite picking up minutes in recent weeks, this has not stopped clubs from eyeing the Frenchman.

Previously, Frankfurt were heavily linked with a move for Kalimuendo this summer as they look to improve their attack.

Sevilla have a strong interest in the final weeks of the window, although the price tag appears to be a significant stumbling block.

Forest are prepared to accept a loan offer. However, it must include a £30m obligation to buy the striker.

As a result, Sevilla are prepared to wait and see how the market develops, with the Forest attacker remaining an option on the table.

Who else could Nottingham Forest sign this summer?

Nottingham Forest have recently been linked with a move for Lamine Camara this summer.

The Monaco midfielder has emerged as a target for numerous Premier League clubs, with Crystal Palace recently placing a bid.

Forest are also now preparing a bid for the 22-year-old as they look to strengthen their midfield options after the departure of Elliot Anderson.

However, it remains to be seen what business the East Midlands club will oversee in the remaining weeks of the transfer window.
