Nuno in hot water after 'embarrassing' Tottenham development - pundit
Frank McAvennie claims Nuno Espirito Santo is still “in bother” after Tottenham lost to Vitesse on Thursday night.
The former West Ham hitman, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, insists there are still “loads of problems” at Spurs.
A second-string Tottenham side lost 1-0 to Vitesse Arnhem in the Europa Conference League on Thursday.
This came after Tottenham recorded three straight wins in all competitions.
Before that however, Nuno was under intense pressure after his side lost three Premier League games in a row, including a heavy defeat to Arsenal.
McAvennie insists things have not completely turned around and claimed the club are a few losses away from being back where it was a few weeks ago.

“Nuno is still in bother,” McAvennie told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“There are still loads of problems there. I have said before there is a problem with Kane and I stand by that.
“There were so many reports about the players turning on Nuno already.
“If that’s true, that won’t have gone away just because Spurs have won a few games.
“If they don’t like his training style and things like that, it will turn again.
“All it takes is a few losses and he’s back to where he was a few weeks ago.
“Football is a fickle game and that’s especially true for managers. As I say, they are still in trouble for me.
“The performances aren’t great and they are struggling in Europe.
“If they don’t get out of that group then dear me, that’s embarrassing.”
