Nuno told to drop Kane after 'awful' Tottenham display - pundit
Frank McAvennie has ripped into Harry Kane as he went goalless in the Premier League for Tottenham again.
The former West Ham hitman, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, questioned why Kane is still being selected.
Kane is now goalless in five Premier League outings this season after failing to find the net against Arsenal on Sunday.
The Gunners ran riot and scored three in the first half as Nuno Espirito Santo tasted a first derby defeat at his new club.
Kane was the subject of much transfer speculation this summer but remains at Tottenham as no side managed to match Daniel Levy’s valuation.
McAvennie insists Kane should have left the club and questioned why Nuno continues to play him.

“How can you play him?” McAvennie told Football Insider‘s Ben Wild.
“After everything that happened, for him to be performing like this, awful.
“He is one of the best strikers in the world and I think he will give everything he can, but that’s not enough.
“But he should have moved, he wanted to move. He doesn’t want to be there.
“Kane isn’t at his best, he really isn’t playing well. He will turn it around, of course he will.
“But it can’t help, having a player in the side who we all know doesn’t want to be there. He should be out of this side until he proves himself.“
Spurs have now conceded three goals in each of their last three Premier League games, all against fellow London sides.
They are next in action against Slovenian outfit NS Mura in the Europa Conference League on Thursday.
