'One of the best' - John Brayford raves about Leeds support
By Danny Wright
Former Sheffield United defender John Brayford has heaped praise on Leeds supporters ahead of Burton’s trip to Elland Road on Saturday.
Brayford, 29, is poised to make his third Brewers debut against the Whites after completing a deadline day move to the Pirelli Stadium from Sheffield United.
The centre-back has already had two spells with Burton and knows all about what it takes to play against the Leeds after years of experience in the Championship and League One.
That knowledge has led him to be very mindful of the atmosphere that can be generated by the Elland Road faithful when his side travels there on Saturday.
“They have big support behind them and they were one of the best teams in England at one point,” he said in a pre-match press conference on Wednesday, as quoted by Burton’s official Twitter account.

It has recently been announced that Leeds have sold over 20,000 season tickets for this season, a figure that isn’t likely to be matched by many clubs in the Championship.
That is no doubt down to the brilliant start that Thomas Christiansen has enjoyed in charge of the Whites, who are yet to lose in their five opening league fixtures and have not conceded since the opening day win over Bolton.
In last season’s meetings with Staffordshire club Burton, both sides won their respective home games.
At Elland Road, the Whites ran out 2-0 winners thanks to late goals from Chris Wood and Souleymane Doukara, who have now both left the club.
In other Leeds United news, the Whites have been given a major striker boost for the clash with Burton.
