'One of the best' - Jurgen Klopp hails Tottenham player ahead of clash v Liverpool
By Danny Wright
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has hailed Harry Kane as being “one of the best” forwards in world football ahead of his side’s clash against Tottenham at Wembley on Sunday.
Kane, 24, has drawn acclaim from all quarters of the game thanks to his superb form this season that has seen him score 11 goals in 11 appearances across all competitions.
The England international is yet to score just a single goal in a game, netting four braces as well as one hat-trick in what has been a sublime couple of months for the Tottenham player.
Anfield boss Klopp has not made any effort to play down Kane’s form though ahead of his side’s clash with the Londoners, and has put the Spurs striker on a pedestal among the best across the planet.
“Harry Kane is one of the best strikers in the world. We don’t play a lot of these games, where both teams are going for everything,” said the German in his pre-match press conference on Friday, as quoted by Anfield HQ on their official Twitter account.

Liverpool go into Sunday’s game knowing that history is well and truly on their side having not lost to Tottenham in their last 10 meetings, winning seven of them.
However Spurs are currently sitting above them in the Premier League standings in third place on 17 points while the Reds are floundering in eighth, four points behind after a mixed start to the season.
Both sides also go into the game off the back of impressive results in the Champions League this week.
Tottenham managed to earn a draw at Real Madrid while Liverpool thrashed Maribor 7-0 to get their first win of the group stages.
In other Tottenham news, it has been confirmed that this Spurs first-teamer will see a specialist next week after an injury blow.
