Pawel Cibicki makes Twitter admission about Leeds league debut in win v QPR
Pawel Cibicki has taken to Twitter to admit it was nice to finally make his league debut for Leeds United in Saturday’s 3-1 win against QPR at Loftus Road.
Cibicki, 23, was introduced as a first-half substitute due to an injury to Caleb Ekuban and as a result made his much-anticipated Championship debut.
The Swedish attacker gave a brilliant performance in front of the traveling Leeds fans in London as he set up one of Kemar Roofe’s three goals.
Now, Cibicki has taken to his personal Twitter account to deliver his verdict on the win.
“Nice to do my debut in Championship,” he said, tagging Roofe next to some fire emojis.

Since signing from Malmo in the summer, Cibicki had only made two appearances for Leeds before the win against Ian Holloway’s QPR.

He had been well down the pecking order, behind the likes of Pierre-Michel Lasogga, Jay-Roy Grot and Caleb Ekuban.
However with them three injured it may be time for the Swede to shine and show Thomas Christiansen the quality to that he can insert to the Whites attack.
Before the game, LeedsLive was reporting that Cibicki may be sold on in the January transfer window to make room for some arrivals to pad out other areas of the squad.
However Christiansen may be forced into rethinking that after Saturday’s display at Loftus Road.
In other Leeds United news, there has been a development in the Whites’ approach for this European enforcer.
