Phillips backs Osayi-Samuel to dazzle at Rangers after reported update
Kevin Phillips claims it would be good business if Rangers can sign Fenerbahce winger Bright Osayi-Samuel.
The Sunderland legend, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, insists the 23-year-old can terrorise SPL defences.
On 10th June, Turkish outlet Fotospor claimed Rangers have rekindled their interest in Osayi-Samuel.
The Turkish club are said to be looking to raise funds amid financial trouble and £3million could be enough to seal the deal.
The winger only joined Fenerbahce in January, leaving Championship side QPR.
In January, Football Insider reported Rangers’ interest in Osayi-Samuel before he moved to Turkey.

Phillips claims the transfer could be good business for Rangers as Osayi-Samuel is unlikely to demand big wages.
“Yeah, he would do well at Rangers,” Phillips told Football Insider correspondent Dylan Childs.
“That’s not big money either. I don’t think he would command massive wages so that could be good business.
“Stevie is always looking to strengthen that squad. It’s going to be a tough season and they need to go again.
“If they can add another player of quality to that side it would be a good move.
“In that league, if you get someone like that running at defenders, he can cause major problems.”
Osayi-Samuel made 18 Super Lig appearances last season, scoring one goal and picking up one assist.
He made 21 appearances for QPR before moving last season, picking up three goals and three assists in the Championship.
