'Picks itself', 'Love it' - Celtic fans react to Rodgers line-up v Motherwell

Celtic fans on social media are pleased with the team that has been selected by Brendan Rodgers for the Hoops’ Scottish Cup Final showdown v Motherwell at Hampden Park.

The team was announced a short time ago on the Hoops’ official Twitter account.

Hoops fans seem happy with the team, with one claiming that the team ‘picks itself’ like it did when Martin O’Neill managed the Hoops.

The most intriguing aspect of the side was who would be in goals, but Hoops boss Brendan Rodgers has elected to choose his usual number one Craig Gordon instead of Scott Bain.

Fans also seem delighted that Tom Rogic is in the starting line-up, in the week where he has signed a new five-year deal for the Bhoys.

Moussa Dembele starts up-front himself with Odsonne Edouard out injured, but the Hoops have some good attacking options on the bench, with the likes of Leigh Griffiths, Patrick Roberts and Scott Sinclair available to win the game for the Hoops if need be.

The teams have already met in a cup final this season, with the Hoops winning the Betfred Cup Final 3-0.
