Piers Morgan fires back at Tottenham star Harry Kane on Twitter, brings up past

By Harvey Byrne

Celebrity Arsenal fan Piers Morgan has fired back at Harry Kane on Twitter after the Tottenham star urged him to kiss the Spurs badge on live TV for charity.

The 51-year-old TV presenter has vowed that he will wear the shirt of his side’s fiercest rivals if £50,000 is raised by 8.00am on Friday.

This has naturally brought a lot of attention and one that it did catch the eye of is current Spurs star Kane, who wrote on his personal Twitter account that he would donate to the cause and would double it if Morgan went as far as to kiss the badge.

However, this brought a harsh response from Morgan, who replied that the injured star could kiss something more inappropriate, while also bringing up the famous image of Kane in an Arsenal shirt.

In regards to the Kane Gunners shirt image, the Chingford-born striker spent one-year at Arsenal between 2001 and 2002 at youth level.

He went on to the Watford academy before finally ending up at Tottenham in 2004, where he has been since.

Spurs fans have certainly forgiven the striker for his Arsenal past due to his impressive strike rate in front of goal and with five years still left on his contract there is little doubt where his loyalty now lies.

In other Tottenham news, Martin Keown believes Dele Alli needs to add this to his game.
