Piers Morgan reacts on Twitter to Tottenham win v Arsenal

By Harvey Byrne

Celebrity Arsenal fan Piers Morgan is never shy to air his disgust about the Gunners and it happened once more on Sunday after their north London derby defeat against Tottenham.

The Good Morning Great Britain presenter was part of the crowd for the last ever north London encounter at White Hart Lane, but he was clearly disappointed after Spurs ran out a 2-0 victory over his side with goals coming from Dele Alli and Harry Kane in the second half.

The outspoken journalist sent out a string of Tweets after the final whistle with one claiming that Tottenham were like Arsenal used to be in Arsene Wengers early years, while the Gunners had turned into the Spurs team under Christian Gross.

He also went on to thank Tottenham on his personal Twitter account for making his dad’s day, while ruining his.

Tottenham’s win on Sunday has maintained their four-point gap between themselves and top of the table side Chelsea.

Meanwhile, the defeat for Arsenal has left them an entire 17 points behind Spurs with five matches left and they also sit five and six points behind Manchester United and Manchester City in the fifth and fourth spots.

In other Tottenham news, Graham Roberts hailed this highly criticised Spurs player after the win against Arsenal.
