Pontus Jansson issues battle cry to Leeds fans ahead of huge clash v Wolves
By Matt Bullin
Leeds and Sweden defender Pontus Jansson has issued a rallying call to the Elland Road faithful ahead of their crucial match with Wolves on Monday.
Jansson played 90 minutes last night against Newcastle as Chris Wood scored in injury time to earn Leeds a huge point away from home.
Jamal Lascelles had earlier nodded Newcastle in front, as the Toon looked to return to the top of the table, while Leeds could have moved third with a win.
The result left both sides disappointed as Brighton pulled clear at the top, while Leeds are just three points clear of Fulham in seventh.
Jansson has been a key figure in Garry Monk’s side this campaign and the 12-time Sweden international has played 33 league and cup matches for Leeds this season.

Ahead of Leeds crucial Easter Monday clash with Wolves at Elland Road, Jansson took to his personal Twitter account to issue a battle cry.
“Monday, 15.00, Elland Road,” he wrote. “Everyone there with us.”
With a win on Monday, Leeds can close the gap on Huddersfield who sit in third, while fans will hope the three points will pull them away from the chasing pack ahead of what could be a nervy finish to the season.
