Exclusive: Norwich City respond to Hull City's Kellen Fisher bid

Hull City have had a bid rejected for Norwich City defender Kellen Fisher, sources have told Football Insider.

The Tigers have identified the right-back as a player to improve their squad, and it is understood that their opening offer came in at around the £5million mark.

Sergej Jakirovic is working to strengthen his squad ahead of the club's return to the Premier League, but may return to the Championship for some of the division's strong performers.

Fisher is under contract at Norwich until the summer of 2028, and sources have indicated that the Canaries will need a higher offer if they are to consider a sale.

The 22-year-old made 43 appearances in the Championship last term, and played a key role in helping the team to finish in the top half of the table.
