Pundit makes 'massive' Liverpool transfer claim amid Jones reveal
Frank McAvennie claims Curtis Jones will be massive for Liverpool over the coming season.
The former West Ham hitman, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, has been blown away by the youngster’s performances this season.
Jones, 20, has made five appearances in all competitions for Liverpool this season.
His last two performances have particularly caught the eye.
Against Porto, he picked up two assists in a 5-1 hammering. This came just days after he scored a brilliant goal in a 3-3 draw with Brentford.
Jones has been playing as one of the three central midfield players though he is occasionally deployed on the left wing.

Injuries to Thiago Alcantara, Harvey Elliott and Naby Keita handed the youngster an opportunity to impress Jurgen Klopp.
Klopp told Sky Sports (1 October) he is “really happy” with how the midfielder has progressed over the last 12 months.
McAvennie has been blown away by the youngster and claimed he will only get better as he continues to play.
“Everyone is talking about Liverpool signing all these players,” McAvennie told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“Do they need another player? What about the young boy Jones? He has been magnificent this season.
“He’s come into a team of superstars and is just playing out of his skin in that midfield.
“He should get plenty of football this season so he’s only going to get better.
“I think Jones is going to be massive for Liverpool. He’s a top talent.”
Liverpool face a top of the table clash against Man City on Sunday.
Keita has returned to fitness but Jones could keep his place after his impressive form.
