Pundit slams 'stupidest decision ever' after Ntcham images emerge at Celtic
Alan Hutton has slammed Celtic after Olivier Ntcham reportedly trained by himself on his return to pre-season.
The former Scotland international, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, insisted there was “no point” leaving the 25-year-old out.
As reported by the Scottish Sun (July 5th), Ntcham trained alone on the Hoops’ return to pre-season training last week.
However, as pictured by the SNS Group, he was part of the Hoops’ travelling squad for the Hoops’ pre-season training camp in Wales.
The midfielder reportedly saw a move to AEK Athens fall through earlier this summer.
With the Frenchman still contracted to the Bhoys, Hutton admitted freezing him out is the worst thing Postecoglou could do.

Hutton told Football Insider assistant editor Russell Edge: “To isolate somebody, it’s happened to me.
“To put somebody out on their own, it’s just one of the stupidest decisions you can ever do.
“You’re just throwing somebody to the side for no point when you’re paying his wages anyway. If he’s there at the club you might as well use him.
“I always thought he was a good player. Yes, it looked like he was looking to get out. Possibly he downed tools ever so slightly.
“He’s moved away, it’s not worked so now he’s back.
“You have to put your head down and work hard because at the end of the day you’re only harming yourself.”
Ntcham’s last Celtic appearance came as a substitute against Ross County back in December.
He played just six times for Marseille after joining the French side on loan in January.
