Rangers fans have gone berserk on Twitter as Clint Hill announced he will play his final game at Ibrox against Aberdeen on Wednesday.
The 38-year-old was signed on a one-year deal last summer following his release from QPR and despite turning into a real fan favourite on the blue half of Glasgow, it looks like he will no longer be there next season.
Hill confirmed he will leave following the 2-1 win against Hearts on Saturday after failing to receive a new contract offer..
Fans have not taken the news well and think that the centre-back should be offered a new deal by Pedro Caixinha, who is expected to make big chances to his Gers squad over the summer transfer window.
Here is a selection of tweets from Rangers fans:
One of the best players in the team madness to not give him another contract 😡

The state we're in we shouldn't be getting rid of our better players!

Hill was signed by Rangers after he was released by QPR in 2016 and has gone on to make 31 appearances for the Scottish Premiership club in all competitions, scoring six goals.
The centre-back will likely be remembered for his late equaliser against Celtic in a 1-1 draw at Parkhead in March.
His last-gasp goal meant that the Light Blues didn’t lose all six Old Firm derbies as they returned to the top-flight of Scottish football.
Hill put in a man of the match display in the 2-1 win against Hearts on Saturday as goals from Barrie McKay and Kenny Miller gave Gers their 18th league win of the campaign.
