Rangers fans have fresh hope of Ryan Naderi return as training photos shared: ‘We could be so back’
Rangers fans have begun to dream of an unexpected return from injury for striker Ryan Naderi in the coming weeks.
The frontman was withdrawn by Danny Rohl at half-time of the recent 4-2 win over Dundee United, and he hasn’t featured since.
Rohl immediately suggested that the German’s muscle injury was serious and added that he would be assessed on a week-to-week basis, but he refused to commit to a timeframe for his potential return.
That prompted many Gers fans to assume that the 22-year-old would be done for the season with just five league games now remaining, but that may no longer be the case.
Naderi’s injury was a major blow for Rangers in their bid to secure the Scottish Premiership title, but the supporters are now dreaming of a big return ahead of the post-split fixtures.

Rohl and his staff took the Rangers squad away to Spain for a training camp this week, as part of their final preparations for the run-in to the end of the campaign.
The Ibrox outfit have another week before they meet Motherwell in their first fixture of the Championship Group, and fans are now beginning to speculate as to whether Naderi could potentially be fit for that clash.

The big striker was seen as part of a series of training photos that Rangers shared from their training camp on Friday, and his inclusion was immediately picked up on by the supporters.
Rangers fans on X quickly noticed the youngster’s involvement in the photos, and began to question whether an unexpected return could be on the cards sooner rather than later.
One fan suggested that Rohl was playing “mind games” by previously inferring that Naderi would be sidelined for the remainder of the season, while another noted that it would be “some boost” to have him back and fit to play a part.
That sentiment was echoed by several fans, while another pointed out that hopefully his injury “isn’t as bad as first feared.”
Another supporter simply responded to the photo of the striker in the gym with: “We could be so back.”
- @Declan_Norwood: “Naderi travelled? Oh my… we could be so back.”
- @rfcr1872: “I thought Naderi was done?”
- @SteveG_S: “Wouldn’t read too much into Naderi being over there this week. Very light recovery work.”
Tuur Rommens also seen in Rangers training photos
Tuur Rommens’ absence for Rangers has provided concern in recent weeks, given the impact that he has made since his January move from Belgian side Westerlo.
The left-back has been an immediate hit with the supporters, but has now been sidelined for the last two games, although his injury is not thought to be as serious as Naderi’s.
However, there also appeared to be light at the end of the tunnel as far as his recovery is concerned, as the 23-year-old also featured in the training photos posted on social media.
The defender already has a goal and an assist in just six league games for his new club, and he was expected to play a crucial role in their bid to secure the title.
Rohl will be desperate to get him back in the coming months, and again, there is now hope that he could potentially be fit enough to return against Motherwell.
