Rangers fans react on Twitter to Toral display v St. Johnstone
By Harvey Byrne
Jon Toral played 82 minutes of Rangers’ midweek victory against St. Johnstone, but his display recieved negative reviews from supporters on Twitter.
The Gers brought an end to a poor run of form at Ibrox on Wednesday evening against the Saints, as they ran out a 3-2 win.
Forwards Barrie McKay, Martyn Waghorn and a late goal from midfielder Emerson Hyndman ensured their side all three points against Tommy Wright’s team.
However, not everyone in the Rangers team escaped criticism as Arsenal loanee Toral found out.
One supporter on social media shared that the only blot on team’s display was the Spaniard, while another claimed he could play better than the midfielder.

Decent 45! Creating chances and bags of endeavour. Toral the only blot. He's been rotten.

Toral was considered an exciting addition in the winter having previously performed well in loan moves for both Birmingham and Brentford.
However, it is fair to say that he is yet to impress the Rangers faithful in his first seven appearances for the club.
He will be eager to pick up his performance levels soon as at 22 it is highly likely he won’t make it with Arsenal, meaning if he impresses at Ibrox he could find a new club at a decent level, or even stay at Rangers.
