Rangers are facing the prospect of yet another overhaul in the summer transfer window.
Graeme Murty may be replaced in charge and whoever comes in may want to keep up this trend of signing and selling off players at every available opportunity.
Pedro Caixinha signed a host of flops last summer with just two or three looking as though they have any kind of long-term future at Ibrox.
Director of football Mark Allen worked alongside Murty in the January transfer window to sort out the mess left by the headless Portuguese, and so far, the results have been impressive.
There has to be a clearout first though for Rangers to make more signings.
RockSport presenter Bill Young has reported on his personal Twitter account that midfielder Niko Kranjcar will quit the game in the summer when his contract ends at Ibrox, so there should be more who follow the Croat out of the door.

Fabio Cardoso
Caixinha signed Cardoso for £1.3million from Vitoria in the summer but he has slipped well down the pecking order since Murty took charge - and for good reason.
The 23-year-old was forced to come off the bench in the defeat to Celtic at Ibrox on Sunday when David Bates was injured.
Cardoso put in a hapless display, proving that he is nowhere near good enough for a team like Rangers.
He simply has to go when the summer window opens, luckily the Gers may pocket a bit of a fee.

Eduardo Herrera
Another one of Caixinha's signings who has failed to deliver is Herrera.
The 29-year-old Mexican has already been linked with a return to his home nation and Allen should not stand in the centre-forward's way.
He has scored just two goals since signing up for Rangers and does not look as though he will ever get into the starting line-up unless there is some kind of mass injury crisis.

Michael O'Halloran
It is really strange that Allen did not move O'Halloran on in the January transfer window.
His loan deal at St Johnstone expired and there's little doubt that Tommy Wright would have had him back at McDiarmid Park for the rest of the campaign.
But he is now in Glasgow and not even managing to get on the bench.
The ex-Bolton forward is nowhere near first-team plans at Ibrox so much just be released in the summer as no one will be daft enough to pay anything for him.
