Rangers must cash in on Morelos after Ibrox source's update - pundit
Kevin Phillips insists it is time for Rangers to cash in on Alfredo Morelos.
The Sunderland legend, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, reacted as the Gers lost 2-1 to Malmo last week.
Rangers’ disappointing Champions League exit leaves a significant hole in their finances.
The easiest way to offset this loss would be with the sale of one or potentially more first-team players.
Morelos, 25, almost joined Lille last summer but stayed and helped Rangers to an invincible league season.
On 26th June, Football Insider revealed Rangers have told Porto that they want £13million for their star striker.

However, the latest from an Ibrox source is they could even accept a lower price in the final weeks of the window.
Phillips insists now is the right time for the Gers to part ways with Morelos.
“I’ve been saying it’s time for Morelos to go for a while now,” Phillips told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“It would help them out financially too if they need that extra cash now.
“There are always issues with him, you know he will miss games in the season.
“Whether that’s through a red card or an accumulation of quite a few yellows.
“I would imagine Rangers are expecting an offer for him now, other clubs know all about the financials.
“I think he will go.”
Rangers face a Europa League play-off clash against Armenian side Alashkert in their bid to earn a place in the group stage of that competition.
The first leg of that game will take place on Thursday (19th August) at Ibrox.
