Rangers must change transfer stance on Youssef Chermiti after Celtic Park letdown
Rangers’ season effectively ended on Sunday as they lost 3-1 to Celtic in the Old Firm derby.
As a result, the Gers are guaranteed to finish third and will not be playing Champions League football this season.
Rangers’ post-split campaign has been nothing short of a disaster, losing all three of their games to date.
Danny Rohl has rightly taken a big chunk of the blame, but the players cannot hide away from this disaster, including Youssef Chermiti.
The striker was awful against Celtic, and now Rangers should consider selling Chermiti, even if a big profit is not on the table.

Football Insider exclusively revealed back in April that Rangers would only consider a Chermiti sale if the club could bag a big profit.
In recent months, the 21-year-old has attracted interest, mainly from PSV Eindhoven.

Rangers are reportedly set to stand in the way of any exit, unless the chance emerges to make a significant profit.
However, after the performance against Celtic, this stance has to change.
The only positive about Chermiti this season has been his ability to turn up in big matches.
Yet, in recent weeks, this has completely disappeared, after he also failed to perform in the defeat against Hearts on Monday.
Therefore, cashing in on a striker who has only managed 12 goals to date in the Scottish Premiership would be wise, especially if they can even make a small profit on their £8million buy last summer.
Are Rangers looking to bring in a new striker in the summer?
Former Manchester United chief scout Mick Brown exclusively told Football Insider Rangers could exploit their links with Leeds United to sign Joe Gelhardt.
The Gers have been heavily linked with the Peacocks star in recent weeks, who has had a great loan spell at Hull City this season.
With both clubs owned by 49ers Enterprises, it could present an opportunity for Rangers to get the deal over the line.
However, with Hull City currently in the playoffs in the Championship, it remains to be seen if a promotion to the Premier League will affect the future of Gelhardt and if the club will look to sign him permanently.
