Rangers prepare swoop for 25-year-old midfielder - report

Rangers are interested in signing Aberdeen midfielder Ryan Jack, according to a report.
The Scottish Sun claim that the Gers manager Pedro Caixinha is keen on the 25-year-old and could make an approach before the end of the season.
It is understood that Rangers are preparing to sign the Aberdeen captain on a pre-contract as his existing deal is set to expire In the summer.
The report details that Aberdeen are trying to secure a new deal for their captain, but he is free to speak to other clubs and Rangers are likely to outbid them.
Jack is a products of Aberdeen’s academy and has racked up 245 appearances for the club.

The central midfielder has played an important role this season and helped his side up to second in the league table.

Aberdeen’s captain can play a holding role in front of the defence and help dictate matches. The reliable midfielder could be a great addition to the Rangers squad and having proven players will be crucial for Caixinha next season.
