Bojan Miovski's updated stance on leaving Rangers after ‘drama'
Bojan Miovski remains unhappy at Rangers but will be utilised by Derek McInnes due to their injury woes, sources have told Football Insider.
Miovski's future at Rangers has been up in the air for the last few months after slipping down the striker pecking order following McInnes' appointment.
The North Macedonian international bagged 13 goals in 42 games in his debut season at the club, but has seen Lawrence Shankland and Kevin Kelsy arrive to compete for places in the summer window.
He came out with a dramatic statement on social media last weekend to announce that he had parted ways with his agent and so will represent himself from now on.
As I revealed on the latest edition of Football Insider's Transfer Insider podcast, the 27-year-old remains keen to leave Ibrox soon despite coming back into contention following numerous injuries.
He scored a dramatic late winner against St Mirren in midweek to write himself firmly back into McInnes' plans for the time being.

Miovski is yet to start a game this season, with his latest strike coming in his fourth substitute appearance of the campaign so far, but he is in line for increased minutes in the coming months.
Sources have exclusively revealed to Football Insider that Miovski wanted to leave Rangers in the summer, hence the split from his agent after he failed to seal an exit, and he still remains keen to depart as his long-term future remains uncertain when other players are back fit.
Speaking on the Transfer Insider podcast, I explained: "The agent drama obviously illustrates that the player is not happy with how things are going for him right now at Rangers, but I think looking at the bigger picture, he's going to be needed in the upcoming weeks and months because of the injury problems that they've got up front.
"Miovski is going to have to play a role for Derek McInnes right now, and he did impress in midweek when he came off the bench to score that late winner against St Mirren."

Miovski relieved the pressure on McInnes in midweek as Rangers trundled towards a disappointing home draw against St Mirren.
The Gers boss could not hide his relief as he heaped praise on the wantaway striker following the late winner, saying: "He’s been good as gold since we've come into the club. I thought we were fortunate to have someone that has his prowess, his experience, his know-how of Scottish football. His goals per minute ratio is really strong in the Premiership.
“For a long period through that transfer window, he probably thought he would have to go elsewhere to get regular football, but such is the way things change in football. With Youssef and Lawrence's long-term injuries, having Bojan in the building is a godsend for me and something that he should take a lot of encouragement from between now and the end of the season."
