Reading ace launches blistering attack on Leeds ahead of key showdown

Yann Kermorgant has launched a blistering attack on Leeds by claiming that “some teams might think they are boring playing long ball”.
The Reading ace is expected to take to the field against the Whites on Saturday evening in what is expected to be a crucial promotion showdown.
Kermorgant has been a key member of Jaap Stam’s side who are sitting one place bellow their weekend opponents in the table.
Ahead of the match, the Frenchman did not hold back in his criticism of the Whites as he explained why they are a one man team.
“Chris Wood has scored nearly all of Leeds’ goals this season. If he gets injured, they have no plan B,” said Kermorgant, as quoted by the Yorkshire Evening Post.

“Some teams might think we’re boring but we might think they are boring playing long balls.”
New Zealand international Wood has been in devastating form for Garry Monk’s side this season, scoring an impressive 24 goals which has him top of the scoring charting in the division.
One of those goals included finding the back of the net for the Whites against the Royals during the reverse fixture in December which Monk’s team won 2-0.
By contrast, experienced striker Kermorgant has scored ten goals during this campaign, including against Sheffield Wednesday last time out.
Reading are currently two points behind the Yorkshire club in the table, knowing dropped points could see sixth-placed Sheffield Wednesday close the gap on them in the table.
More worryingly, seventh-placed Fulham, who are one of the most attacking teams in the division are six points behind Reading and a further eight behind Leeds.
After this match, Monk’s side will focus their attention to free-scoring Brentford before hosting promotion chasers Preston North End on April 8.
