Chief sports writer for the Mail on Sunday Oliver Holt has told that he can see Tottenham first team star Kyle Walker departing from the club this summer.
There has been mass speculation in regards to the future of the Spurs 26-year-old and many believe he could seen be nearing the club’s exit doors with manager Mauricio Pochettino favouring Kieran Trippier in recent matches.
The 25-time capped England international has also missed Tottenham’s final two matches of the Premier League season with an “ankle injury” and on Sunday The Mirror claimed Mauricio Pochettino and Daniel Levy have agreed that the England right-back will be allowed to exit Spurs if his £40million valuation is met.
Now, well known and reliable journalist Holt has told that he believes Walker could leave the club in the next window as it would appear there has been a breakdown between the player and manager
“There are certain players in that Spurs side that you will not sell and that they must not sell if they are to go one step better and win the title next season,” told Holt on Sky Sports’ Sunday Supplement, as quoted by the Sky Sports website.

“Dele Alli and Harry Kane would be top of that list of players they must not sell.
“Walker has had a terrific season but they do have Kieran Trippier and if they do get a big fee for him they could reinforce as well. There appears to have been a breakdown between him and manager Mauricio Pochettino so I could see him going.”
Walker has been at Tottenham for eight years after signing from Sheffield United alongside Kyle Naughton for £9million in the summer of 2009.
He has gone on to feature in 229 matches in total for the club and 39 of those appearances have come in all competitions in the current campaign where he has returned six assists.
The full-back also has four years remaining on his contract at Spurs and why fans might be keen for him to remain his time at the club could be coming to a premature end.
In other Tottenham transfer news, odds have tumbled on Spurs signing this 20-year-old goal machine.
